Kiaro Easy – opening system for drop-down doors

Kiaro Easy is a compact opening system for drop-down cabinet doors. A slim cable connects the mechanism on the cabinet side panel to the door, providing a smooth, controlled opening movement. The design takes up little space and is particularly suitable for smaller doors on storage furniture and cabinets.

Choose between Soft and Strong

Kiaro Easy is available in two strength versions. Soft is used for lighter doors, while Strong provides greater resistance for heavier doors. The correct version depends on the door height and weight, as well as whether one or two mechanisms will be fitted. Include the weight of any handle when selecting the mechanism.

Adjustable opening and universal mounting

The same mechanism can be fitted to either the left or right side of the cabinet. The opening angle is adjusted with a screwdriver, and a separate adjustment allows you to set when the door starts to slow down during opening. This makes it possible to fine-tune the operation after installation.

Kits in white, grey and anthracite

Here you will find Kiaro Easy Soft and Strong kits in white, grey and anthracite. The kits include door brackets for both recessed and surface mounting, allowing you to choose the fixing method that suits your furniture.

Combine with suitable flap hinges

Kiaro Easy is used with hinges suitable for a drop-down door, such as Kimana. The mechanism controls the opening movement, while the hinges provide the door's pivot point. A separate push latch can be used for a handleless design.

Frequently asked questions about Kiaro Easy

What is Kiaro Easy used for?

Kiaro Easy controls the opening movement of drop-down cabinet doors. The cable mechanism slows the movement as the door folds down, providing a smoother opening.

What is the difference between Soft and Strong?

Soft and Strong have different strengths. Soft is suitable for lighter doors, while Strong is used when greater braking resistance is required. The choice depends on the door height, weight and number of mechanisms. Both versions have an adjustable opening function.

Do I need one or two mechanisms per door?

The number of mechanisms depends on the door height and total weight, including any handle. The manufacturer recommends two mechanisms per door wherever possible. Check the sizing requirements for your door before selecting the version and quantity.

Are there separate versions for the right and left sides?

No, Kiaro Easy is universal. The same mechanism can be fitted to either the right or left side of the cabinet.

Can the opening angle and braking action be adjusted?

Yes, the opening angle is adjusted with a screwdriver. You can also adjust when the braking action starts during opening. Set the opening angle first, then adjust the braking action. When used with Kimana, the door opening angle must not exceed 90°.

Which door brackets are included?

Our Kiaro Easy kits include door brackets for both recessed and surface mounting. Choose the bracket that suits the door construction and your preferred mounting method.

Does Kiaro Easy replace the door hinges?

No, the door also needs suitable hinges. Kiaro Easy controls the opening movement and can be used with Kimana flap hinges, for example. The mounting dimensions must be adapted to the hinges used.

Can Kiaro Easy be used with a handleless door?

Yes, the system can be combined with a separate push latch for a handleless door. The manufacturer recommends K Push Tech with a buffer for this application. Kiaro Easy provides the controlled opening movement.
